No Skips 2025: Let’s Do A 30 Day Wellness Challenge in March 2025

2025 is my year of showing up and being consistent even when things aren’t going according to plan or even perfect.
Welcome back to My Jamaican Vignettes. What I had planned for today’s blog post (both the original February plan and the back up idea) won’t work anymore. So I’m pivoting.
The featured image was designed in Canva all the way back in the beginning of January. It was never intended for a blog post but rather an Instagram graphic to be posted the beginning of March or perhaps or was for April. But here we are.
30 Days of Wellness Challenge in March 2025
Let’s discuss briefly what our plan of action entails for the 30 day wellness challenge.
Day one: Journal your top priorities. What do you want to focus your mind and energy on in March. Set your goals and intentions. Put it in writing.
Day two: Hydration baby, drink at least 80 oz of water.
Day three: Plan your meals for the next three days. Meal planning is hard work. So let’s not tackle the whole week. But do an audit, look in your refrigerator and pantry, what meals can you make, remember that is nine meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day four: Eat more fruits.
Day five: Drink some herbal tea. No sugar added. My favourite is peppermint tea.
Day six: Slow down and eat mindfully.
Day seven: Skip the powdered stuff and season your food with fresh herbs and aromatics.
Day eight: Limit processes foods. Especially those ultra processed items. Eat more whole foods and vegetables.
Day nine: Laugh and smile. Visit a loved one, call a friend. Watch a favourite comedy.
Day 10: Do you want a treat? Have a treat. Don’t deprive yourself.
Day 11: Enjoy an everything shower – wash your hair, exfoliate, really enjoy that me time.
Day 12: Walk for 30 minutes – or break it up and do three 10 minute sessions.
Day 13: Try a new exercise routine.
Day 14: Veggies – load your plate up with colourful vegetables.
Day 15: You may want to consult your doctor first but have you considered a multvitamin?
Day 16: New recipe. I know you save them on TikTok and Pinterest, make something delicious for dinner.
Day 17: Cook a homemade meal, whatever you go-to comfort meal may be.
Day 18: Make your list and stick to it, grocery shop mindfully this week.
Day 19: Have you ever tried intermittent fasting?
Day 20: Enjoy a big stretch.
Day 21: Do you have a green thumb? I don’t but I have managed to keep a ZZ plant and cactus alive for the last six months. Buy a plant.
Day 22: You should be doing this every day but wear your sunscreen.
Day 23: Take the stairs aka walk a little bit more than you typically do today.
Day 24: Establish a good nighttime routine and try to get eight hours rest.
Day 25: Less salt and less sugar. You got this.
Day 26: Are you hunched over reading this? Try to sit up straight.
Day 27: Are you a weight loss journey? I am. Celebrate a non-scale victory today. How does your favourite pair of jeans feel?
Day 28: Say no to saturated fats.
Day 29: The world seems obsessed with protein now but what about fibre. You need both.
Day 30: Eat whole foods.
Bonus: Day 31: Celebrate. You did it!
