Don’t Bother Spring Cleaning Until You Do This First

MJV Decluttering Guide 2025: My Thoughts and Takeaways

For us in the Caribbean, spring cleaning might not mean what it does for our neighbours in the north. But post-Christmas and new year, you have a acquired new things, clothes, appliances big and small or gadgets and it may be time for a life reset.

This is where decluttering comes in.

You know the items (big and small) that spark joy, the things you are excited to wear, have and use.. Those are the items you will keep, treasure and care for.

If you have gently used items or even new things that don’t fit your current lifestyle consider donating it to someone in your circle who may enjoy it.

Once you have purged those items, go ahead and deep clean your space. You will be so happy.

Be well.

Thanks for reading.
