August 2024 TBR List

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Happy Sunday.

Welcome back to My Jamaican Vignettes!

It is a new month so these are books I am planning on reading in August 2024. It is a mix of e-books, digital ARCs, audiobooks and physical books. Let’s dive in.

August 2024 TBR List

Kindle Books

I have four books on my Kindle that I want to get to this month – three contemporary romance novels and one mystery thriller. The books are:

Somebody’s Wife by Robbi Renee – I DNF’d the audiobook in June but I am hoping that I can get into the e-book, I wasn’t vibing with the narration.

Reel by Kennedy Ryan.

The Oath by TM Richardson. I read her traditionally published contemporary romance The Build Up in 2023 and I loved that so I am ready to dive into her indie catalogue and book two in the series was released in July.

The Dating Countdown by N.G. Peltier- I have an ARC and I loved the first two books in her Island Bites series so I feel confident that I will enjoy this as well.

Keep Your Friends Close by Lucinda Berry – this is my first Lucinda Berry book but I have heard good things on BookTok.

Physical Book

From my summer 2024 stack, I only have one book left and that was on my most anticipated books, It Waits In the Forest by Sarah Dass. It is a fantasy mystery set in a fictional Caribbean island.

Audiobook

My audiobook of the month is an Everand Original that is less than five hours and would fall in the self-improvement category. I will be listening to The Happiness Makeover by M.J. Ryan. I am generally a happy and grateful person but I am curious to see what tips or recommendations Ryan can provide that may be incorporated in my life,

And that is it for my August 2024 TBR list.
