Merging MyJamaicanVignettes and The Stories of Chantel DaCosta

Happy Sunday!

And Happy Emancipation Weekend.

I have great news to share, I am merging my blogs. I am so excited!

This idea has been tossing around in the back of my mind for the last month or so. And finally, I am now working on integrating The Stories of Chantel DaCosta with My Jamaican Vignettes.

In March, I made the switch from sharing the Sunday vignettes on Channillo to having this blog and so far I have loved writing and connecting.

At first, I considered creating a separate blog for book reviews and switching The Stories of Chantel DaCosta book blog from Tumblr to WordPress.

Then last week, I settled on merging the blogs.

Therefore, starting next week (I hope), all bookish related content will here. My book reviews, currently reading notices, book recommendations, Writerly Yours Book Club activities and all other book related topics will be in its own category.

My Jamaican Vignettes personal essays will continue to be posted on Sundays and all book related content will be published on Wednesdays.

Wish me luck (fingers-crossed) I am very optimistic that the importing from Tumblr to WordPress goes smoothly. And if it does see you on Wednesday for a book review.
